Texile Collections
The highlight reel of collections and products I developed during my undergraduate career at NC State University's Wilson College of Textiles. Each is a demonstration of my skillset and creativity.

My debut showcase home-textile collection.
Eighteen Thirty is a tangible representation of the memories I collected growing up at street number 1830, nestled within two acres of woods in rural North Carolina. This work intricately weaves together form and function, creativity and technicality, inviting you into the mind of an imaginative young girl living in the blissful innocence and security of her secluded childhood.

Patchwork Playmates, 2024

Saltillo is a collection of knitted, cotton-rich fabrics intended to bridge the gap between aesthetic and performance in women’s athletic and athleisure wear for the Autumn/Winter season of 2024 & 2025.
Inspiration was drawn from southwestern motifs and traditional New Mexican woven textiles. The warm tones of this region bring a comforting ambiance to athletic apparel. The combination of comfort with stitches and finishing techniques demonstrating the technical nuance of performance, Saltillo is built to support an active lifestyle without sacrificing self-expression. Mid-range brands when it comes to cost such as Free People Movement and Girlfriend Collective would carry the garments produced from Saltillo.
Saltillo utilizes finishes for cotton fabrics developed by Cotton Incorporated. These enhancements make the cotton fiber makeup competitive and advantageous to the activewear market that is currently dominated by synthetic fibers.
Saltillo was awarded an Honorable Mention in
Cotton Incorporated's "Cotton: Feel Good, Do Good" Competition in 2023.
Basta Van, 2022

Krokbraghd Woven Camera Strap
Woven on an automated dobby hand weaving loom. Woven structure drafted in WeavePoint.
This project challenged me to design and create for a target consumer. While we share many similarities as siblings, my sister and I have very different self-expression aesthetics. I researched specifications of a high-quality camera strap including materials, measurements, and composition. This resulted in a high-quality end-product from both a technical and creative perspective.
Jo x ETRO, 2023
Jo x ETRO is a collection of knitted fabrics designed to fit into and broaden the brand prescence of the luxury brand Etro. The featured pieces encompass both the luxury garment and luxury home markets which Etro caters to.
Etro is known for their vibrant colors and symbiotic pattern mixing. Their target market is upper-class Millenials and Gen X. Their product mix lends itself to high quality and high price point but limited variety. The products I created in this collection broaden the scope of Etro's offerrings to create more variety and draw in the buying power of Gen Z.
discordant, 2022

Discordant is a collection of six vibrant and visually compelling knitted samples that are suitable for high-end apparel applications. Flowing motifs draw the eye around the fabric and are inspired from microscopic images and neo-aboriginal art themes. Discordant is meant to bring hand-knit techniques to the machine knitting realm. Hand-embellishment techniques such as resist dyeing and freshly developed knit structures make the collection of luxury quality. Because of this, the target market of Discordant is upper-class adults of all ages, but would be specifically enjoyed by women.
Each sample uses hand dyed techniques simulated in photoshop, complex and refined knit structures, and luxury quality materials that make them suitable for high-end apparel applications.
Jacquard Journey, 2023
A swatch book cataloging my experimentation with woven jacquard design.
Each weave draft was formulated with the intention of being used in my senior design collection 'Eighteen Thirty' and to enhance my knowledge of designing on an industrial loom.

Hop On In is a collection of woven samples constructed from polyester/wool blend warp and weft yarns which are intended for predominantly “industrial” end usages, specifically after-market automotive customization.
Each fabric sample is woven on a “shadow” style warp which gives them high visual appeal and a graphic quality.
Hop On In is meant to appeal to a variety of adults who are looking to bring life and personality to their vehicle’s interior without breaking the bank or permanent alteration. The earthy tones emulated in Hop On In appeals to more free-spirited consumers known for recreationally car-camping.
The strong, heavyweight yarns from which they are fabricated provide durability, cost-effectiveness, and overall aesthetic appeal.
To create this collection, each sample was hand-woven on a computerized dobby loom. In an industrial setting, these fabrics would be created on a more streamlined, automated loom.

Daylily Daydream, 2021
Inspired by the aging of my parents and cherished memories of my grandparents' eclectic home, Daylily Daydream is a collection of jacquard-woven fabrics designed for home furnishings that resonate with older adults. Drawing on motifs from the daylily nursery where I spent my childhood, the collection evokes a sense of comfort and familiarity—imagery that speaks deeply to my parents as they settle into a slower, more home-centered phase of life.
Rooted in nostalgia, Daylily Daydream pairs these personal botanical elements with a timeless color palette and composition inspired by the classic textiles of an older generation's youth. The result is an inviting, emotionally rich environment that encourages reminiscing, honors family memories, and brings the comfort that comes with a life becoming full-circle.
Colorway Two

A second colorway of Daylily Daydream creates a more tropical, resort-like feel intended to bring youthful energy to retirement home furnishings while still maintaining the classic motif arrangements of the initial colorway.
